Late on Friday afternoon we had a phone call from Southampton General Hospital saying that they had an urgent collection from Glasgow that had to be done a.s.a.p. We then arranged for one of our drivers to leave immediately and the parcel was delivered to the hospital on Saturday. We also had a request last week for some samples to be picked up from Poole Hospital as soon as a patient came out of the operating theatre and delivered back to a research lab at Southampton Hospital. These had to be kept at a certain temperature.
